Ethel was known for her artistic talents. Ethel painted many miniature pictures of birds, deer, loons, children and nature and golf scenes. She painted on many different mediums including rocks, wood blocks, golf balls and Christmas ornaments. She sold many of her pieces at Nakashian-O’Neil. Many of you likely have something she painted.

Ethel was proud of her music and athletic skills which included playing drums with the Lafayette Municipal Band and playing baseball with the boys in Lafayette. Later she took up golfing at went on to win numerous women’s golf club championships at Parkview Golf Course in Eagan.

For several years she ran a popcorn and cigarette stand at the Minnesota State Fair. She enjoyed winter trips to Bella Vista Arkansas.

A special thanks to the staff at Lilydale, Doctors & Nurses at United Hospital, and staff at N.C. Little Hospice for their care and support for Ethel.

As a family we thank you for your support, assistance, and prayers for Ethel. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
